Wednesdays, 3/26 - 4/30 at 6:30pm at Center for Spiritual Living Tampa Bay

Rev Laine will be offering the course, Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life as the next spirituality class. This in-person class will be taught in the sanctuary on 5 Wednesday evenings starting March 26th.  It is offered for certification through Centers for Spiritual Living.

Students will learn basic spiritual principles and practices as well as practical applications to use them in the major categories of life – relationships, prosperity, and health.

A $50 Registration Fee is required to cover materials and certification, and tuition will be on a love-offering basis.  Please click this LINK to register by March 20th. 

We are all signed up to volunteer as a group for Paint Your Heart Out Tampa on April 26th!  Mark your calendar and watch for more details about how to sign up to be part of the team that will paint a house for one of the elderly or low-income families who will be blessed on this day!  Paint Your Heart Out will be celebrating their 35th year of providing this unique program in our area.  Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this big day with over 2500 volunteers working all over the city.  Thank you to our Volunteer Committee, chaired by Jill and Glenda, for arranging this unique opportunity to serve.

Spiritual Women Aging Gracefully – SWAG – is a monthly discussion group open to all women of CSLTB and beyond who are interested in discussing the process of aging from a spiritual perspective.  It is held on Zoom the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 1:00 – 2:30pm, and is based on the Ten Practical Guidelines for Conscious Aging by Cynthia Bourgeault.  This group is led by practitioner Susan Clark in her desire is to sustain a circle of women interested in accepting the aging process in a positive, conscious, and loving way.  Use this LINK to let her know you would like to be a part of this unique support group.  After signing up, please watch your email for the actual Zoom link!  The next meeting will be March 11.

We offer a guided meditation on Sunday mornings from 10:00 – 10:20 in the practitioner room. The practitioner room will continue to be available for quiet personal time anytime after 9:00. Then at 10:00 if you want to experience meditation as a group, you can head back to the practitioner room for our guided meditation from one of our licensed practitioners.

We wholeheartedly invite children into our dedicated space of learning and light. Help us spread the news to any families who may be looking for a positive environment for their little “big souls in small packages!”

Connection Time starts at 9:15am and each person can choose how to spend their time each week.

Do you want to connect within with Spirit? Head to the practitioner room for a quiet space with soft music and lighting, There may or may not be a guided experience, depending on the week, but there will always be a space to pray, meditate or sit in the silence.

Do you want to connect over coffee and casual conversation? Head to the fellowship hall to get a cup of coffee and always feel free to bring a snack to share.

Do you want to connect with Rev. Laine, the lesson and a guided conversation? Head to the sanctuary for Sacred Cup, which is a guided discussion about the lesson for the morning. Usually hosted by Rev. Laine, however another host will be present on some Sundays when she is elsewhere.

Let’s love each other! If you have availability to help others by driving them to appointments or helping with errands, let us know. We would like to start a community "tree" -- a list of available members who have the time and ability to transport others or help in other ways when needed. Practitioner Ellen Fenner will be the primary contact and will communicate with others on the list to coordinate efforts.
