Our Leadership Team

Rev. Laine Morgan

My Intention: To awaken people to their spiritual identity and encourage them to love themselves in a greater way through living more consciously.

  • Reverend Laine Morgan is a dynamic and inspiring teacher and speaker. Her messages combine New Thought principles, spiritual law and everyday stories to illustrate common life experiences of the Divine Spirit in action. Laine’s ministry is centered around the idea that every individual can experience greater self-love, life satisfaction and engagement through conscious living. Everyone can change, and exploring spirituality enhances that personal shift in a positive direction.

Rev. Laine has always been on a path toward the ministry. She was raised in fundamental Christianity, attended a Baptist college, and has studied most of the major world religions. She found New Thought Spirituality through the Science of Mind teachings of Ernest Holmes in 2001. Prior to coming to the Tampa Bay area in 2017, Rev. Laine served as Assistant Minister at the Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta. She is also a personal and spiritual life coach with over 25 years of experience assisting others in creating more fulfilling lives. She holds Graduate Degrees in Counseling and Consciousness Studies and has the skills to be patient, relatable and nurturing in her demeanor. She brings humor to all of her life work.

Rev. Laine wants every person to know that the Love of God is always available to them in each moment, no matter what challenges life may bring. Coming together in spiritual community is our inherent nature, and she wants you to know that all are welcome at CSL Tampa Bay. It is in community that we celebrate milestones, share love, discover our truth, commune with Spirit and have fun!

Rev. Laine currently shares her life with her wife Terri, and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Amazing “Maisy” Grace and Abby Cadabby. She is also quite proud of her adult daughter Kelsey, who lives in Atlanta. Laine is an avid reader, a decent tennis player, a below average golfer, a movie buff, and has traveled extensively. Laine is on her own spiritual journey and surrounds herself with others who are seeking their highest expression and positive experiences in life.

Anyone can connect with Rev. Laine through her email revlaine@csltampabay.org or through her personal website www.lainemorgan.com.

My Intention: To give back in service to the spiritual community that I call home, and to help our center grow and thrive so that others can join us on this wonderful journey of growth and light.

Joan Ledbetter

My Intention: To continue to grow spiritually, sharing what I learn with others along the way.

  • I am a college professor with a current focus on freshman seminar and career planning courses. I have a grown son, Wilson, and live in Tampa with my distinguished doggie, Rufus Chewbacca.

I was looking for a spiritual home, and when I found CSLTB I knew I had arrived. I have been involved with many churches. CSLTB is different. The philosophy makes sense, the people are all genuine, and every service is both meaningful and fun. There is nowhere else I would rather be and no community I would rather be a part of. CSLTB welcomes everyone and would be happy to welcome you.

  • As a Licensed Practitioner, I welcome the opportunity to assist you wherever you are on your spiritual journey. I feel a strong call to help you acknowledge and engage with your own Inner Wisdom and perfection with a focus on being rather than doing. I affirm and honor the sacred wholeness that underlies whatever challenge is in your life and support you with compassionate listening and prayer.

I am a member of a 12 Step fellowship and am fluent in the practices and language of the program. I have 2 adult children and 11 grandchildren who all reside in the Tampa Bay Area. I have been a Religious Science Practitioner for 14 years and worked for 11 years as a hospital/Hospice Chaplain. I also owned a retail business in Tampa for 31 years.
